Yelp

Yelp is a sneak peek at some of the material we're exploring in Connected - a feature film in production that looks at what it means to be human in the 21st century.

While we were busy working on Connected, some friends at Reboot starting planning a National Day of Unplugging

So late one night on a road trip, my husband, Connected co-writer Ken Goldberg, and I wrote a poem called Yelp, based on Allen Ginsberg's, Howl.  Then I, along with Connected co-editor Dalan McNabola edited the footage together. It was really satisfying to whip out something short in the midst of working on an 80-minute feature. The images and original animations (created by our animation director Stefan Nadelman) are pulled from Connected, which will by completed by the end of this year.
